Wounded, Ill, Injured and Caregiver Support
A continuum of care for wounded, ill and injured service members
Recovering from a battlefield injury, training accident or even a long illness can be a daunting prospect for service members and their loved ones. The USO of NC supports service members and their families who are recovering and receiving treatment in several ways. The USO of NC operates a satellite center at the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Bragg, offering a place where warriors who are recovering from injuries can come together with other; enjoy gaming, movies, snacks and camaraderie. Throughout the state, the USO of NC supports installation and community programs designed to promote recreational therapy and continual care, as well as offering seminars and conferences for military caregivers.
