Fort Bragg Center Volunteer Opportunities

Center Volunteers

Volunteers cover the Fort Bragg Center, Monday through Friday, with a half-day or full day time commitment. Duties include answering phones, taking messages, making sure coffee and snacks are provided, making copies and sending faxes for service members, counting and sorting donations, keeping the center clean, and making sure that every guest signs in.

Family & Children’s Activities Volunteers

Provide support for the families of our Fort Bragg troops through our Kidz Korner Program. Volunteers serve as USO of North Carolina ambassadors at Command sponsored events, offering children’s games and activities and providing resources to families who are experiencing or preparing for a deployment. This is a very special team of volunteers who have a heart for children, are patient, and have a desire to serve young military families.

Special Events/Fundraising Volunteers

Volunteers in this capacity assist the center staff with the set-up and take down of the site, cover the USO of North Carolina information table and accept donations on behalf of USO of North Carolina. As such, the volunteer must have great interpersonal skills, a good working knowledge of the USO of NC, and be willing to help with a wide-range of tasks. Special areas of responsibility will be assigned based on the scope of the event.
