Combined Federal Campaign
- One of the easiest ways you can support the USO of NC is through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)
- Between September 1 and December 15, federal employees can pledge to support non-profit organizations that provide important services to the community
- We ask that you help support our men and women in uniform by remembering the USO of NC, CFC #29349, during this year’s campaign.
The Troop Locker
- A percentage of purchases made through The Troop Locker goes back to the USO of NC.
- The Troop Locker is an online information management portal featuring industry-leading security protocols that provide private and secure web-based access and organization of important military records, personal documents and identity protection.
- This state-of-the-are web portal is accessible from any internet connection in the world and gives you and your family members the ability to securely upload, manage, share and store a variety of information including: military-related documentation; insurance and private medical records; legal documents; and any file-based documents, photos, and scans. The Troop Locker also includes ID Locker which protects you and your family from damage caused by a stolen identity, as well as Wallet Guardian recovery assistance for replacing lost of stolen wallet credentials and credit cards.
Smiles Over Miles
- Smiles Over Miles is an expansion of an existing USO of North Carolina program that originally brought families of deployed service members to its center to record and mail DVD messages to their loved ones
- The goal of the Smiles Over Miles program is to give all deployed military service members the opportunity to send video messages back home – easily from any computer with an internet connection and webcam. The technology also comes with built-in security, so messages are kept private and delivered via secure transmission
- Now U.S. service members have an another simple and private way to connect with loved ones from anywhere in the world using the PrivacyDataSystems.com ePackage™
- Individuals and corporations can sponsor cards that the US of NC distributes to troops
Rack Pack Program
- The purpose of the Rack Pack Program is to provide our warriors with the basic necessities needed for the first 48 hours after returning home
- Rack Pack bags filled with these basic necessities are placed on the rack (bed) of every service member upon returning from their deployment
- Individuals and corporations can donate the specific items or the funds for the USO of NC to purchase items

- The hCard’s® mission is to help communities across the United States
- The hCard® helps consumers save money and brings more business to local merchants
- For every USO of NC hCard® purchased, hCard® will donate 50% of the purchase to the USO of NC
Tickets for Sporting/Entertainment Events
- Individuals, businesses, sports teams and entertainment vendors can donate complimentary and/or reduced-price tickets to events, such as: sporting events, concerts, plays, family shows, etc., to help us boost the morale of our troops and their families
